More than 100 million new Android handsets will be under the company’s app in the next two years, according to the company’s stated goal. With the help of several major global Android smartphone manufacturers, the Truecaller app will be preloaded on smartphones in key markets, according to a statement.
India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Latin America are among the countries in this category. Truecaller CEO and Co-Founder Alan Mamedy stated, “With the new version of Truecaller, customers may access the app within seconds on devices from several of the world’s leading smartphone manufacturers.
In an effort to expand Truecaller’s global user base
Using the Internet, Truecaller can identify, block, flash messages, and record callers on a smartphone. Both Android and iOS devices can make use of the app. Over the next two years, the app plans to reach more than 100 million new Android handsets in various areas. Over 220 million Indians use Truecaller every day. In the United States, there are more than 450 million people who own smartphones.
More than 700 million Indian smartphone users would be using Truecaller by the end of the next three years, according to the company’s projections. A 35 percent increase in two years has brought the Swedish firm’s market share to almost 50%.
Over the past year, Truecaller’s active user base surpassed 250 million people. Since October 2020, Truecaller has gained 50 million new users worldwide, according to the business.
